All About Aaron
Stepping outside of my comfort zone and joining my high school’s journalism program transformed my life forever. It was a huge shot in the dark for an introvert like me, but that was where my passion for photography started.
It’s been eight years and I’m so glad to have ventured into the world of photography. Nowadays, I mainly shoot street, events, and sometimes portraits, but I’m always learning.
My Gear and Main Settings
I don’t believe in secrets. Here’s all the gear I use.
I have three lenses I use for my A7III:
Tamron 70-180mm F/2.8
This is the lens I use for further distances and is easily my most-used. I consider this my “professional lens” because I would mainly use it to shoot events where I might be far away from the subject.
I have way too many shots with this lens.Tamron 85mm F/1.8
The 85mm definitely gets used the least by me. I would use it for portraits, but I’ve realized I don’t need an F-stop that low and simply carrying around the 70-180mm is much more convenient. I am in love with the bokeh on this one, though.

Landscapes or wide shots look pretty spiffy with this lens. I’m also trying to utilize this lens for street photography whenever I get bored using my X100VI.

Fujifilm X100VI
This one looks like a film camera, but it’s actually digital! The coolest thing about the X100VI is that it’s super portable and emulates different film stocks. I mainly use these two recipes (one for color and one for black and white):
