Events

I shot a lot of events, mainly in college. I was the multimedia journalist for UMass’ Center for Multicultural Advancement and Student Success, which gave me the opportunity to photograph a bunch of cool events. Some of my closest college friends were pretty “high up there” people for a bunch of student organizations such as the Student Government Association, the Pakistani Student Org, JStreet, etc. Through other connections, I also photograph IMPACT National Conference and the American Association for Clinical Chemistry’s global expo. It’s crazy how things can work out.

Sometimes connections can define amazing photos, or at least give you the opportunity to photograph something grand. I never thought building friendships/making connections as an opportunity opener— I truly am a people person— but being that awkward social thriver, I have grown both personally and photographically (according to spellcheck, apparently that’s a word).
