Moments on the Mall

When people think of DC, they often think about the National Mall and all of its monuments. There are so many pictures of the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, White House, etc.

Let’s flip the camera.

We often photograph the extravagant pieces of history that DC has to offer, but what if we took a step back and captured the people and the moments that they convey. The Washington Monument will always stand strong (I mean, it’d be really concerning if it ceased to exist in the next couple decades), but those flashes of intimacy, frustration, conflict, humor between people can never truly be recreated.
